Mississippi Arts Commission Mini Grant, awarded to complete sculpture works from the Cloud Series.

           

2013   

“Juror’s Choice Award”, Dr. Paul Manoguerra, Georgia Museum of Art, Louisiana Purchase: 2nd National Biennial Juried Exhibition, Louisiana Tech Uni., Ruston, LA.

Awarded The Aubrey Keith Lucas and Ella Ginn Lucas Endowment for Faculty Excellence for the 2013 – 2014 academic year, USM

 

2011   

Awarded Research Grant by the USM College of Arts and Letters to design and build, Homes for Everyone, a public artwork for display for 18 months on campus.

 

2010   

Awarded sculpture commission by the Mississippi Museum of Art to build an outdoor sculpture, Garden Boats, for their new art garden. Piece installed September 1, 2011.

Awarded fabrication commission by artist Martha Ferris, to fabricate an artwork designed by her a project at the Mississippi Museum of Art

'CURATE THIS! 2010 - New Art' publication award, Juried by Helen Pheby, PhD, Curator of Yorkshire Sculpture Park, UK, publication release, November 2010.

 

2008

Received a Mississippi Arts Commission Visual Arts Fellowship Grant

University of Southern Mississippi Summer Grant for Improvement of Instruction

Secured from Mississippi Power a $5,000.00 donation for the 3D Arts area

 

2006   

Secured private grant, through USM Foundation, of $5,000 for international travel to England for conference

Final installation of new iron pouring cupola (blast furnace) an in-kind gift from Tommy Dulaney and Structural Steel Services,

Donation of cupola equipment for new blast furnace from Keen Foundry, $5,000
